Ideas for making your own protest art for display on home, porch, yard, window or door
*Make your own sign to display in your yard
*Decorate a pre-existing, preprinted sign to make an even bigger impact.
*Creating collage work
(poly-acrylic spray from local hardware store can make it weather durable.
*Make a Flag or banner that conveys your message. Or change an existing one.
*Paint or decorate a glass window or door from the inside or outside to
become its own mural And it’s automatically illuminated and from the inside and
protected from the elements. You could paint a sheet even and hang it from your house.
*Create a shrine in the front yard to honor someone who has been killed.
*Use sidewalk chalk to convey your own message or a quote from someone who inspires you
*Make a peace pole for racial Justice
*Make an archway to you driveway or entrance that says what you stand for And what you expect in your home (All are welcome here)
*Create your own poster or print to hang on telephone poles or in public places
